2019 Highlights: AllenComm Closes the Year as an Industry Leader

December 19, 2019 Avatar image of AllenComm By AllenComm

AllenComm has repeatedly been named as a top company for eLearning and employee development and leads the industry in designing, developing and deploying transformative learning experiences. In 2019, we strived for more than our usual awards; we tried to add value to the corporate training community by participating in conferences, giving presentations on instructional innovations, hosting webinars with actional insights, and creating hundreds of award-winning courses.

Conferences

Attending an eLearning conference might sound like fun, but it’s not always manageable when travel means leaving behind a pile of work. It can be a total drag to press pause on your current projects. But, Allencomm employees basically compete to earn the privilege of attending an event because events provide an opportunity to learn. By exploring the content from vendors and presenters at these events, we can inject our future processes, design strategy, and learning technology, with innovation and industry knowledge.

ATD Techknowledge, TechLearn, and DevLearn are more focused on training technology like augmented/virtual reality, AI, or chatbots. Essentially, these conferences give vendors a platform to showcase their cutting-edge training technology and give attendees ideas for their own learning programs. We got to break out our mobile performance support platform, Siteline, that integrates a few of these new technologies into one system.

At more general L&D conferences, like ATD International and Training Industry events, you might find vendors with services ranging from eLearning translation to behavioral neuroscience-based training consultation. Though the range of both providers and information seekers is wide, we do find a niche in custom digital learning solutions. So, be sure to check on our events page for future conferences in your area!

Presentations and Webinars

Hopefully, you were able to catch one of our in-person or virtual presentations this year. A few of our performance consultants, instructional designers, and even our CLO took some time to put together their thoughts on employee onboarding, sales enablement, and compliance. These presentations are meant to help our audience take something back to their work to put into practice. We often use case studies, best practices from industry leaders, and lessons learned from our own experience to develop concise, current, and interactive content.

Unfortunately, we don’t have recordings of the in-person presentations, but we do have our webinars on-demand. Here are some of the webinars you may have missed:

Training Courses

In 2019, AllenComm created ~210 digital learning programs for companies like HP, Becton Dickinson, and Change Healthcare. Though many of our clients are Fortune 500 companies, we are continually expanding our reach to help more companies develop their employees using new technologies and practices as they arise. Some of our heart-work would include projects for companies like Communities in Schools and Healthcare & High-Risk Security Services — both centered around providing better service to at-risk or vulnerable populations.

Recognition

Client partnerships are what fuel our continued growth and recognition from organizations like Brandon Hall. Moreover, they allow us to showcase the advancements we’ve made through those partnerships. We’ve earned quite a bit of recognition this year:

With award-winning projects for companies like Certified Angus Beef, Change Healthcare, Alter’D State, Communities in Schools, and The PGA Tour—to name only a few—AllenComm reaffirmed, in 2019, our place as an industry leader. Several of our clients this year have gone out of their way to praise our work:

“We started this project knowing exactly what we wanted and needed. Our AllenComm colleagues have taken that foundation and worked with us to create something that is far better; a dynamic, engaging, WOW-learning experience that will help us get the business outcomes we want and need. Secondly, the AllenComm team I am working with is creative, organized, brilliant, flexible, caring, and on time.”

Conclusion

Awards and client reviews do have their benefits. They help to define our position in the eLearning industry show our strengths — and perhaps our shortcomings. But our involvement in the training industry goes beyond what you’ll find on our awards page. It’s the ATD meetings, hours designing presentation slides, and days planning our next speaking event. So, as we move into 2020, we’re honored to show our hard work in action once again.
