Despite the benefits of eLearning modalities, The Brandon Hall Group found that 95.5 of organizations surveyed still use ILT. Lecture models have dominated education for centuries, so that’s no surprise. But, when faced with global health concerns, extensive in-person training just isn’t feasible.

In this short interview, Dr. Worlton-Pulham discusses her experiences as a Performance Consultant navigating the rapid industry shift from Instructor-led Training to digital learning modalities (e.g., VILT, eLearning, and digital assets). She found that many of our clients are now faced with shifting business goals, and need help supporting large organizational changes. Moreover, learning and development teams are struggling to adapt their learning experience to one that accommodates remote training. Fortunately, the right design strategies can help transform ILT content while maintaining the best features of ILT (i.e., social interaction, and engagement).
