Farmers Insurance tops annual list of 125 companies that apply best practices to training their employees.
SALT LAKE CITY (March 3, 2011) — The Allen Communication Learning Services team extends their congratulations to Farmers Insurance Group for earning the #1 ranking in Training Magazine’s Top 125 for 2011.
According to Training, their Top 125 ranking is determined by assessing a range of qualitative and quantitative factors, including financial investment in employee development, the scope of development programs, and how closely such development efforts are linked to business goals and objectives.

In their February 2011 edition, Training wrote about the expansion of the University of Farmers program; Farmers training 2,500 new claims employees that came onboard after the acquisition of the fourth-largest direct writer of auto insurance in the US; and Farmers investing in a $250 million internal software upgrade that necessitated the training 29,000 agents and staff.
