SALT LAKE CITY (May 1, 2008) — On May first, AllenComm announced the launch of their Learning Portal. The web-based technology promises to help their clients and prospective clients better manage and track their training efforts. It also rounds out Allen’s custom training offerings.
The Allen Learning Portal is AllenComm’s response to the growing need among customers and the learning marketplace. The low cost solution offers no per user licenses, a lower base cost, and less time needed for implementation.
On May first, AllenComm announced the launch of their Learning Portal.
“Providing the right fit for clients means our learning portal system can scale to meet both the size of their training and audience as well as the functionality needed,” states Ken Brower, CTO of Allen Communication Learning Services. “Because we listened to the needs of our clients, we focused on an easy to use, intuitive interface design, then backed it up with powerful .NET and XML technologies. This allowed a wide range of flexible customization options from branding to generating reports while maintaining a true LMS product underneath.”
AllenComm originally offered the Learning Portal to an exclusive group of clients as a learning management solution. Then, as more and more clients expressed the need for an easy to use, intuitive solution, AllenComm made it public.
