SALT LAKE CITY (Aug. 13, 2004) — Allen Communication Learning Services, the award-winning custom elearning development firm, ranks third in the nation in competitiveness and seventh in name recognition, according to survey results.
“In the e-learning world, providing a unique customer experience and sound instructional design pay off more than old style marketing,” said Ron Zamir, president and CEO, Allen Communication.
“The dot-com days are over, and while most of our competitors have come and gone, Allen Communication continues a 23-year-old tradition of designing award-winning, custom web-based and instructor-led training solutions,” he said.
Brandon-hall.com, an independent e-learning research firm, asked elearning vendors nationwide to identify their toughest competitors; Allen Communication ranked third in number of mentions.
When more than 200 chief learning officers, training directors and e-learning managers were asked to recall ten custom e-learning firms from memory, Allen Communication ranked seventh in number of mentions.
Combined, the brandon-hall.com rankings reflect Allen Communication’s position as a recognized and respected leader in the custom e-learning marketplace.
We are very proud to receive recognition for a brand that signifies our instructional design attentiveness,” said Zamir. “We also realize that having such a brand commits us to surpass our customers’ expectations and continue the proud Allen Communication tradition.”
Brandon-hall.com has previously awarded Allen Communication the “Excellence in E-Learning” award, describing its courseware as an “excellent balance between instructional design and creativity.”
One judge calls “Making History: A Personal Leadership Adventure,” developed for Rockwell Collins, “one of the best applications I’ve seen of applying simple animation and interactivity techniques to achieve an instructional goal.”
