For one major global leader in the aerospace industry, effective training for front-line leaders is a top priority. They know that their leaders have a critical impact on the employees and culture of the organization. As such, they developed a vision for a front-line leadership training program to empower their team to maintain high standards of ethical, legal, and workplace excellence at all times. To achieve this, they partnered with AllenComm to build a leadership development program that focused on teaching the right skills, know-how, and motivation to navigate the complicated and often nuanced requirements of leadership.

The AllenComm team developed a digital learning solution with activities designed to connect new leaders to their mission and their colleagues. It included self-reflective experiences with scenario-driven simulations and self-corrective branching modalities to build leaders’ confidence through real-world context and practice in a safe environment.


The learning solution provides leaders with clear information about expectations, opportunities to learn and practice performance-enhancing skills, and points of review to validate their progress throughout the learning journey.

From the beginning, the team at AllenComm knew it would take shared vision to design and develop an effective learning solution to empower Front-Line Leaders. We started with a and close collaboration with their team that included an iterative process of design, review, and quality control to ensure a successful development process of their learning solution. We also knew that the Front-Line Leaders program had to motivate the new leaders and get their buy-in. Our instructional designers took into consideration the data-driven mindset common to their learning audience, to create a personal skills leadership training that effectively spoke to their team.
