Beautycounter, along with custom corporate training leader AllenComm, announce a record six training awards for a personalized learning experience and mentoring course for Beautycounter sales consultants. The winning learning platform, called Counter University: Ongoing Coaching and Mentoring Platform helps consultants along their path from onboarding to growth and leadership positions.
Beautycounter and AllenComm have added two more awards to their wins for this e-learning project with two Brandon Hall Group, Inc. (BHG) Excellence in Learning Awards for Counter University. The learning platform won a gold award for Best Advance in Coaching and Mentoring and a silver award for Best Advance in Mobile Learning.
“Our learning portal is a one-stop-shop for all our consultants’ training needs,” said Kyle Hickman, Manager of eLearning and Development at Beautycounter. “Anything they need to know about how to run their businesses, how to speak about our products and brand, they can find in our Counter University learning portal.”
Beautycounter sought AllenComm to help them create a mentoring and mobile experience for their learners.

We took our top-sellers and recruiters and had them share their tips on mentoring and coaching and incorporated that into our training courses,” said Hickman of the process of creating the course and portal. “The majority of our consultants use their phones to take our training courses, so we want to make sure they have access to that knowledge whenever they need it — like if they’re about to meet a potential client and need a quick refresher on how to have conversations about our brand — they can easily do that with our platform.”
