Allen Communication Learning Services Wins Two Omni Intermedia Awards for Product Selling
SALT LAKE CITY (June 9, 2009) — Media Corp Inc. announced Allen Communication Learning Services as a two time winner of the coveted Omni Intermedia Award. AllenComm won Bronze and Silver in the Product category for courseware developed for Amway Global and an overview developed for the Allen Learning Portal. For the first award, AllenComm and Amway Global covered the basic training needed to sell their beauty, energy and gifting products. Through this training the participants gain a basic understanding of the product line of their choice and then learn by navigating scenarios how to explain the benefits based upon the customer’s needs.
With the second award, AllenComm developed an interactive Flash-based overview of the Allen Learning Portal based on typical situations clients find themselves in when searching for an LMS.
The entries for each category “are evaluated for overall excellence in a specific genre,” with Allen’s winning genre covering media “created primarily to sell a product.” The criteria for multimedia were based on eight areas of interest: creativity, graphics, programming, ease of use, functionality, audio, special effects, and impact.
