SALT LAKE CITY (June 9, 2009) — Media Corp Inc. announced Allen Communication Learning Services as a two time winner of the coveted Omni Intermedia Award. Allen won Bronze and Silver in the Product category for courseware developed for Amway Global and an overview developed for the Allen Learning Portal. Winners are listed at: www.omniawards.com/winnerscircle.html
For the first award, Allen and Amway Global covered the basic training needed to sell their beauty, energy and gifting products. Through this training the participants gain a basic understanding of the product line of their choice and then learn by navigating scenarios how to explain the benefits based upon the customer’s needs.
With the second award, Allen developed an interactive Flash-based overview of the Allen Learning Portal based on typical situations clients find themselves in when searching for an LMS.
The entries for each category “are evaluated for overall excellence in a specific genre,” with Allen’s winning genre covering media “created primarily to sell a product.” The criteria for multimedia were based on eight areas of interest: creativity, graphics, programming, ease of use, functionality, audio, special effects, and impact.
“We are proud to work with such a high caliber client like Amway Global, especially when sales training provides the greatest impact for their company,” states Ron Zamir, President and CEO of Allen. “To be a part of such a mission critical measure like improving sales in this economic recession is an honor.”
