SALT LAKE CITY (February 2, 2009) — Allen Communication Learning Services was just awarded a Learning Leader award in Vendor Innovation by Bersin & Associates. Based on Bersin & Associates’ detailed criteria compiled over years of research, the Learning Leaders Program recognized Allen as developing an effective approach to learning management systems through the Allen Learning Portal.
The Learning Leaders Program was looking for innovations that resulted in significant business improvement. For the Allen Learning Portal, improving business training was the effect of fully customizable features and functions coupled with a user friendly interface. Bersin & Associates will award Allen at the industry’s only annual research conference on enterprise learning and talent management, IMPACT 2009, held April 14-16 in St Petersburg, Florida.
“Allen offers a learning solution with the type of services and customization capabilities that used to be available only in large enterprise learning management systems,” said David Mallon, senior analyst for Bersin & Associates. “Allen’s fixed price, ease of use and rapid implementation gives organizations an affordable, scalable solution for managing corporate training.”
“Our innovative approach to managing learning matches our philosophy,” states Brent Verhaaren, Director of Marketing of Allen. “You should have an intuitive, quality system that works for you instead of you working for a system. You’ll have more opportunity to spend quality time on training and less on confusing software. Bersin & Associates recognizes this approach to learning, validating our line of thinking, by honoring us as a Learning Leader. We are grateful and excited to accept this award.”
In addition, Learning Leaders Program partner Elearning! magazine features the 2008 winners in its January 2009 issue. Elearning! will also feature Allen in follow-on articles and in webinars throughout 2009. Read the full article at Elearning!.
