Simulations
From linear-based to multi-branching models, Allen will develop a simulation most appropriate to your learners
We offer a wide range of simulations for both online and blended learning environments, from simple, single-path simulated activities to more complex, multi-path simulations. Simulation types include:
Software Simulations
Cognitive Task Simulations
-
> Focus on the step-by-step decision making process on a cognitive task. Many
options, available at all times; actions can be chosen in any order. Numerous
ways to succeed or fail.
-
> Consequences are based on the actions selected and the order in which they
are selected.
-
> Consequences occur immediately, at each step or action
Habitat or Process Simulation
-
> Allow students to manipulate factors in a habitat, environment, or integrated
system (such as a business, city, or manufacturing line)
-
> The simulation then runs, showing how the entire system reacts based on those
student manipulations
-
> Consequences may unfold over time

Part of what allows us to offer such a wide variety of simulations is our
in-house technology.
