Conversion 

We are often engaged to convert instructor-led training programs to an e-learning format. Although we are proficient in a number of tools that will simply change the format from PPT to Flash, we prefer to do a redesign. Our team will redesign the course, utilizing the best of the previous program while recognizing that the new delivery format will require some new approaches.

Then during our design phase, we interview trainers or others that are familiar with the previous training as well as review evaluation data gathered from learners. This information informs our design so the conversion is more of an enhancement or an update rather than a straight conversion.

Some of the strategies we use to replace classroom activities may include scenario-based simulations, games, video, discussion boards, and wizards that can help compensate for the loss of human interaction.

In converting PPT or content to WBT, we try to keep costs down by using an in-house proprietary tool to help with rapid content development when appropriate.
