Back in 1981, when Allen developed technology for improving the development and delivery of quality and effective training and learning solutions, it involved hardware like the Apple IIe, videodisc players and standalone kiosks as well as software like Quest and Designer’s Edge. Obviously, in almost three decades, technology has changed quite a bit, and many of the technologies we worked with in the past, we don’t now.
What hasn’t changed, though, is our focus on facilitating learning. As these changes have come about, Allen has always searched for innovative methods for developing and delivering quality and effective learning.
Today, we continue to forge innovative approaches, specifically for collaborative learning solutions, from learning management, to project management, to internal training technologies--using tools like XML-driven Flash e-learning technology or Web 2.0 technology that helps us shorten development time, increase courseware interactivity, and facilitate courseware maintenance.
