Allen Wraps Up Third Stage of Internal Training Team Implementation for Pharmaceutical Client

SALT LAKE CITY (February 22, 2008)—Trying to build your internal e-learning team is a challenge, especially when you are new to e-learning and are not sure how to begin.  One of Allen’s major pharma clients faced just such a challenge when they grew faster than their training team.  Allen helped the client develop a training team by creating a three stage mentoring process, the third of which Allen is just beginning.

The first stage involved Allen working closely with the client to discover their business objectives, making systems and staff recommendations, then demonstrating how their training team would benefit from these changes. In the second stage, Allen helped the client’s training team develop their resources by training and creating courseware with them. This way, as the client’s e-learning needs grew, their training team could handle the expansion.

Now Allen is wrapping up the third stage by mentoring the team in how to develop effective e-learning. Allen’s guidance and advice is helping them with the transition from a training group of a few people to a fully functioning team, capable of addressing courseware development needs internally and externally.

Allen was “the most thorough in understanding our needs,” stated the client’s director of training. “They feel like an extension of my own staff. We felt a greater appreciation for Allen’s efficient and effective business procedures.”

“It’s not often that a company builds a training department from scratch. We feel honored to help a growing pharmaceutical company from the beginning,” stated Brent Verhaaren, Director of Marketing at Allen. “What’s really satisfying is the strong partnership we’ve forged. It’s basically the perfect example of the great things that can be accomplished with a client/vendor team.”
