Fitness for Duty
During this training, workers at nuclear plants learned how to perform their jobs safely and competently in an environment free of drugs and alcohol. The course took employees through the client’s drug and alcohol policy, the consequences of not adhering to it and laws and regulations governing the Fitness for Duty policy.
Respiratory Training
Good health depends on breathing clean air. In an industrial environment, respiratory hazards are a part of life. They are often invisible and can cause health problems if workers are exposed without effective control or protection. This course was designed to help employees understand radiological and non-radiological hazards in the work place/ It also trained employees in the use, proper fit and inspection of respirators.
Plant Access Training
Plant Access Training was designed for individuals requiring unescorted access to the protected area of the client’s plant. It taught necessary information to function in a safe and efficient manner.
Radiation Worker Training
The Radiation Worker Training course provided workers with the knowledge and skills necessary to enter and work safely within a Radiologically Controlled Area or a Radiologically Posted Area (RPA). This course helped workers remain safe in a nuclear power plant by giving them the knowledge to discuss radiation and contamination principles and identify the different sources of radiation.
