Allen Communication, a 23-year veteran company of the multimedia education and e-learning industry, is seeking a highly motivated individual to penetrate sales with Fortune 2000 companies. Based on our recent growth we are looking for highly qualified individuals on the East Coast.
Job Description
Our Sales Representatives are responsible for selling the company’s custom courseware development services. Specifically, this role includes proactive prospecting, identifying and qualifying sales opportunities and all aspects of negotiation and closing business. Individuals must have proven experience in a consultative role with clients on e-Learning services such as courseware development and a sales track record in the e-Learning industry. The Sales Representative will report to the Sales team leaders or VP of Sales and participate in weekly Sales review and training sessions. The position will have a specific geographical territory and will function as part of a Sales team which includes Inside Sales and presale support. The position will include a base salary and a highly competitive viable compensation based on commission.
Job Functions
> Proactively develop opportunities for courseware sales based on existing contracts and prospecting.
> Help prospects with ROI analysis and industry information.
> Consult with clients on issues related to instructional design.
> Demonstrate courseware to clients through face-to-face visits and online demonstrations.
Job Requirements
Must have:
> Minimum two-year sales experience selling e-Learning services (not products).
> Industry experience and contacts.
> Experience in calling on decision makers in medium to large companies.
> Excellent language and demonstration skills.
