Project Manager Positions

Skills
- Manage the entire project lifecycle through each stage of design and development.

- Manage multiple projects and multiple client relationships concurrently.

- Manage all communications with client contacts, project sponsors, subject-matter experts and technical representatives.

- Provide expert-level consulting on adult learning principles, needs analysis, design strategies, implementation plans, etc.

- Secure client approvals on all project deliverables.

- Lead a team of designers, writers, graphic artists, programmers, and media production specialists to meet project goals and work within the project scope.

- Review and adjust project plans—evaluating estimates for production time, deliveries, and review cycles as necessary.

- Provide timely reporting of project status, revenue projections, and invoicing status to Allen management.

- Support Sales and Marketing efforts by reviewing proposals, working with clients to secure demo permissions, and presenting at industry conferences and Web broadcasts.

- Provide mentoring for contractors and new hires by reviewing their work, providing feedback, and ensuring that all deliverables exceed expectations.

- Use enabling technologies to support project management, including web-based review tools, project portals, status reports, timelines, etc.

- Travel to client sites to facilitate project kickoffs, needs assessment, content-gathering activities, executive interviews, usability testing, or other related activities.

 

Experience
- At least 5-6 years of previous project leadership experience with either internal or external training projects.

- Experience in instructional design preferred, but candidates with significant project management experience in related fields or industries will also be considered.

- MS, MA, or MBA in relevant field (candidates without an advanced degree should have equivalent years of industry-specific experience).
