Allen Communication Recognized with Best of State Award for Third Straight Year

SALT LAKE CITY (June 3, 2014) – For the third year in a row, Allen Communication Learning Services has been recognized with Utah’s Best of State Award for Management and Employee Training. The Best of State Awards recognize outstanding individuals, organizations, and businesses in Utah. Winners were selected based on overall excellence and quality of services, creativity, differentiators, and efforts to improve the quality of life in the community and state.

Allen stood out in the Management and Employee Training category for their innovation and thought leadership in training strategies, learning technology, and instructional design. Utah’s excellent business environment is providing talented instructional designers, graphic artists, project managers, and video professionals, who are contributing to some of the industry’s most forward-thinking training programs. Allen has produced award-winning educational solutions such as mobile-learning courses, game-based learning and highly-branded consumer education. Consistently driving new training trends in learning and business performance, Allen’s primary objective is always to help clients generate a higher return on investment.

Judges also recognized Allen for its innovative Sustainable Customization model in learning portal design. This technology is helping major corporations move beyond the limitations of traditional learning management systems, through powerful analytics, team performance dashboards, and deep social and gaming components.

Allen demonstrated the excellence of its instructional design processes by re-launching its instructional design app, DesignJot. The innovative app has been recognized as an industry-leading tool and with over 22,000 downloads is being used worldwide to help training professionals align their instructional activities with business goals.
