Allen Communication and Bright Horizons Nurture a Bright Future

Companies launch two custom elearning titles for Bright Horizons staff

SALT LAKE CITY (Dec. 14, 2004) — Allen Communication Learning Services, a leader in custom e-learning development, and Bright Horizons Family Solutions, an international child care provider, today announced the launch of two custom e-learning titles designed for Bright Horizons directors and supervisors.

“Performance Management: Building a Positive Work Environment” helps supervisors with a background in education feel comfortable giving feedback to the employees they manage and foster a positive environment.

“Parent Marketing: Growing Enrollment” gives directors the skills needed to successfully market Bright Horizons’ services to attract new families to their centers.

As Bright Horizons’ elearning development partner, Allen Communication designed the courses to give participants opportunities to participate in relevant scenarios and practice making good decisions, said Anna Hayrapetyan, Allen Communication project manager.

“We all shared the same goal-creating a product we are proud of,” said Mary Bresadola, manager of education and training for Bright Horizons. “It really felt like a team,” she said.

Early feedback about both courses is positive.

“I loved it!” said Carol Landry, Bright Horizons Center Director, about the performance management course. “I especially enjoyed having all the resources available at the touch of a button. In fact, I found it so helpful that my entire succession team will be doing it,” she said.

“I recently used the Parent Marketing CD. It really made me think about how we could improve our marketing and parent retention,” said Cindy Loewe, Center Director.
